Design and Printing Services
Printing and binding
Design and Printing Services is home to WSU’s system-wide, in-house printing plant. Before you print, our design and production experts will advise you of the best reproduction methods, guide you in preparing your materials for printing, and help you anticipate costs.
Digital printing
Design and Printing Services uses state-of-art digital printing technology that provides:
- Advanced variable data possibilities
- Reduced printing costs with minimal waste
- Highest resolution quality possible
- Quicker turn times
- Color enhancement at the press
Variable data
Our digital printing presses use advanced software to combine design files with Excel files, creating total customization for variable data printing including text and images. We utilize this technology to do something as straightforward as addressing mailing pieces, or we can print a more complicated, personalized project for your marketing needs. By combining these potentially unlimited touch points of data, you have the ability to create powerful pieces that resonate with your target audience.
Bindery, addressing, and fulfillment
Design and Printing Services offers a full array of bindery options to make a professional presentation, including folding, trimming, and binding.
Automated addressing and envelope inserting services are also available. Nonprofit and first class mail pieces are processed for quick entry into the postal stream and at the lowest postage costs available.
Contact a project coordinator to get started planning your upcoming print project.
If we can’t provide the most economical and efficient solution for you, we work with vendors to give you the best value for your budget. We also work with licensed vendors to provide other kinds of custom items we may not be able to print in-house like pens, lapel pins, sticky notes, and so much more.
